Healthy journeys start at Compass Pediatrics and newborn wellness visits allow us to complete a comprehensive assessment of your newborn. This includes obtaining measurements of your infant’s height, weight, and head circumference as well as performing a head-to-toe exam. We will also obtain/review appropriate newborn screening assessments and provide guidance regarding any weight or feeding issues.

During these first few visits, we hope to establish relationships with our patients and their caregivers that we can build on in the years ahead.

Compass Pediatrics is here to care for your family’s health and well-being at any time. It is common for newborns and young children to display symptoms that may concern you as a parent or guardian. If you are nervous about a particular symptom, feel free to give us a call, and ask questions about your newborn.

Fever with temperature of 100.4 or higher during the first two months of life
