What to expect at your sick visit?

When preparing to bring your child in for a sick visit, please write down details about your child’s symptoms that could be helpful to our doctors. We will ask about your child’s medical history, recent activity, and any other questions that may help us diagnose your child’s illness.

After checking your child’s vital signs (often including temperature, heart rate, blood pressure and oxygenation) and discussing what symptoms and concerns are present, we will examine your child.  We may also order xrays or labs if needed.  Then we will discuss your child’s plan of care as well as when they may need to follow-up.

After Hours

If your child’s illness or injury is life-threatening, call 911.

Otherwise, for an urgent matter that cannot wait until business hours, call our office to be connected to a pediatric nurse to discuss your child’s care.
